Analytics Implementation Engineer Full Time

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

As a member of the Tracking Architecture team, you will work with both business and technology stakeholders to implement the website/mobile application tracking strategy. Supporting the technical design, construction, delivery, and maintenance of TKWW’s event-based reporting tools. The ideal candidate takes a methodical approach to addressing tracking needs for the organization and is focused on balancing business needs with technical impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support ownership of event tracking: design and definition of data, implementation and coordination for the front end team, verifying the data, QA-ing the validity of the data
• Work closely with all teams in the organization to identify and gather requirements for tracking on TKWW websites and mobile applications
• Work closely with developers and digital product owners to implement the event architecture and conduct necessary quality assurance checks
• Educate internal teams on existing/new features and capabilities in Google Analytics and other analytics software to support fulfillment; train employees and offer platform expertise; define roadmap for long-term Customer Analytics needs
• Assess 3rd party analytics code running in the browser or in a mobile application
• Working with the marketing team on setting them up with the correct flow
• Controlling for the impact of tags that are added through GTM.
• Support a data-driven culture and strong collaboration with cross functional teams

SUCCESSFUL DATA ENGINEERS CANDIDATES HAVE:

• Experience with front-end web or analytics development tools
• Exposure to Tag audit and session replay tools such as Tag inspector, Tealeaf, Fullstory, etc.
• Understanding of testing and optimization platforms (Adobe Target, Optimizely, etc.)
• Understanding of Data Management Platforms (DMP) such as Adobe, BlueKai, etc.
• Understanding of Mobile SDK tools for reporting (i.e. Google Firebase)
• Understanding of ETL and ELT processes
• Understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and their usefulness
• Exposure to event messaging systems used for behavioral and/or transactional tracking (i.e. Segment, Rudderstack, Kafka)
• Experience writing and manipulating SQL logic for root cause analysis
