Assoc. Director, Product Management – Applied Machine Learning Full Time
Best Buy Co., Inc. has an opening for an Associate Director, Product Management – Applied Machine Learning position at its headquarters in Richfield, Minnesota. Responsible for taking the lead in driving research, development, and applications of cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms across multiple technical teams to build innovative technologies, services and products. Lead technical efforts to architect, develop, and operationalize models, algorithms, and production quality codebases. Lead the ideation, design, and development of state-of-the-art machine learning products and services. Leverage artificial intelligence to improve customer experience and create business value. Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define/track product requirements and milestones, coordinate resources, and guide the team through key milestones. Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity. Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures. There are multiple positions available. Requires Master’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics, or Operations Research. Position requires at least 3 years of managerial experience in both product management and people management in the consumer retail industry and managing/tracking Agile development over JIRA boards. At least 1 year of this experience must include leading development of ML/AI or related products. The pay ranges from $184,870/year to $212,100/year.
