Functions, Duties, Tasks:
Achieve sales and earnings targets for brands and product under direct supervision.
Analysis of sales, site performance, main product launch and marketing programs.
Brand Planning: consolidated annual brand/species Marketing Plans to provide a reference document for budgeting, forecasting for strategic and tactical direction and enhance brand distinctiveness by managing online/offline portfolio, activity, and campaign.
Implement the marketing plans in alignment with Global and Regional strategies. Support the ASEAN marketing team (if any) in the development of the ASEAN marketing strategy.
Budgetary Management: Brands are supported by an Advertising and Promotions (A&P) budget, used to fund campaigns and promotions. It is the responsibility of the Brand Manager to manage this budget, to ensure appropriate allocation of resources.
Operate within Promotional Practices (GPP) process and outcomes.
Work closely with the Sales and Technical team to provide appropriate support and training to ensure the optimal local implementation of the marketing plan
Promote and present commercial and technical information to internal and external audiences.
Production & Sales Forecasting – working with Supply Chain, Regulatory and Customer Services to ensure sufficient stocks available to meet sales targets, whilst meeting inventory objectives, to manage capital costs.
Manage brand and product pricing, exposure, and price control.
Build metrics to track success and identify gaps versus planned outcomes.
Collect market intelligence and proactively develop initiatives to address local issues and ensure business results.
Promote the Elanco brand internally and externally to build engagement.
Build and maintain business relationships with key opinion leaders and strategic accounts.
Track market trends, category development and brand performance through cooperation with market research companies. Find the pain-points, fall-through and fall-out on purchasing journey.
Track performance of customer and consumer behavior and trends through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Science or Business.
Min. 3 years of proven marketing experience in animal health, human health or FMCG industry, preferably in pet industry (pet health/pet food/pet supply).
Focus on product/brand management.
Experience of managing digital marketing.
Proven experience in working on multiple media campaigns & promotional initiatives.
Strong analytical and presentation skills.
Good English – written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel to meet market and business.
