Job Description and Responsibilities
Operate the CNC Lathe safely to produce Premium Couplings within specifications. Perform regular equipment maintenance.
Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
Set up and adjust production machinery/tools
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
Repair machine tools and parts
Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
Requirements
Grade 12 minimum
Computer numerical control (CNC) machines operation experience is preferred, but not required
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
Read and Understand API 5CT specifications
Computer skills
