Facility Maintenance Coordinator Full Time

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: High school education or undergraduate degree preferred

Experience: Have a combination of training or experience totaling at least 2 years

Languages: English

Skills:

• Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations
• Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints
• Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision
• Demonstrated ability in a wide range of maintenance skills such as carpentry, plumbing, mechanics, janitorial, use of manual and mechanical tools.
• Good communication skills including the ability to speak read and write in English

Duties and Responsibilities:

Summary:

Performs a variety of routine and semiskilled tasks involving general maintenance and cleaning of the facilities and grounds.

Depending on assignment, duties may include: making routine plumbing repairs (example: repairing leaks, unplugging toilets and drains, etc.); replacing light bulbs and fluorescent lights, maintaining grounds, lawns, operate cleaning equipment (sits on sweeper, street sweeper, etc)

• Ensures both the cleaning and maintenance of internal and external assigned facilities.
• Operates a variety of manual and motorized equipment
• Perform basic emergency repairs as needed and directed.
• Perform routine tasks such as including garbage runs, equipment repair, painting, A/C system cleaning & maintenance, etc.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
