This position will have lead responsibility for the Financial planning, reporting, and analysis of the Americas region. This role will be the main point of contact for Americas-level reporting and analysis. The role will align financial forecasting and reporting across the sites and functional areas. This role will also have significant input in the structure, cadence, and design of key financial outputs for the Americas. Roughly half of this role will be project-based or ad-hoc assignments based on the needs of the business.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process for the Americas
Ownership of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting
Development of financial modeling to support business-level and project-level financials including DCF analysis
Development and ownership of the Americas-level reporting
Ownership of monthly/quarterly reporting deliverables to Global Finance
Key point of contact for the Global team regarding Americas financials
Coordination and alignment of reporting at all sites and across all functions
Financial analysis of business cases, capital projects, etc.
Support enhancements and change to SAP structure to provide better reporting and data availability
Development of finance BI tools in coordination with other functions
Finance lead on projects requiring Finance support
Ad-hoc reporting as required by Finance, Americas leadership and Global leadership
NATURE AND SCOPE
The FP&A Manager will report to the BAC Finance Director. The position can be based at any BAC location in the Americas or remote but will require travel up to 25%.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, MBA preferred.
7+ years experience in a Finance role requiring advanced analysis and reporting.
5+ years of experience, manufacturing facility preferred.
Strong presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of business systems / ERP, preferably SAP.
Excellent track record of process improvement.
Demonstrated expertise working across multiple business functions.
Self-starter mentality willing to identify opportunities and propose solutions as issues present themselves.
