Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre requires two temporary full-time Itinerant Teachers (K-12). The campus location will be based on the successful candidate’s principal residence. The position will commence on September 8th, 2026 and end on June 25th, 2027.
Sask DLC is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation, created to deliver high-quality and equitable online learning programs to students across the province. Sask DLC’s head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and regional campuses located in Estevan, Kenaston, La Ronge, Moose Jaw, Meadow Lake, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current and Yorkton.
Sask DLC Itinerant Teachers deliver high-quality instruction and assessment for students in kindergarten to Grade 12 courses. This temporary full-time 1.0 FTE position is required for teacher absences during the instructional day and is based in a Sask DLC Campus. It involves the daily delivery of Saskatchewan curriculum through both synchronous and asynchronous learning models as assigned by Campus Administration. Online Itinerant Teachers address elementary and/or high school curricula, possess a strong understanding of digital platforms such as Moodle and Microsoft Teams, and are committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging online learning environment. The Online Itinerant Teacher will also collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to address daily teacher absences in all campus locations within Sask DLC.
