Position Summary:

A Pet Health Technical Consultant is responsible for developing and implementing promotional & communication strategies for Animal Health Professionals in different fields of Pet Health.

A Pet Health Technical Consultant is responsible for developing and implementing promotional & communication strategies for Animal Health Professionals in different fields of Pet Health. This role gives an opportunity to work with products which are first-in-class originators that bring unique benefits to practicing veterinarians/their patients.

As a Pet Health Technical Consultant you will work with a set of highly skilled pet health professionals and to develop as a professional in the field of veterinary pharmacology and gain deep understanding and knowledge in different fields of veterinary medicine like parasitology, internal medicine, dermatology, and pain management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute promotional & communication strategies tailored to Animal Health Professionals across various fields of Pet Health.
• Planning and successful implementation of new product launches.
• Aligning with the CEE Technical Marketer/TC Head and Commercial/Mktg responsible for the country/territory/brand to ensure the effective local implementation of strategies.
• Provide on-the-ground support to local commercial teams through regular field visits.
• Implement the veterinary product strategy for all Pet Health products within the local market.
• Support and organize regional/ country events with educational and promotional purposes. 
• Foster and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) at the local level.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, both digital and print.
• Be willing to travel within home country, with the potential for responsibilities in multiple Central Eastern Europe countries

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM)
• Strong public speaking and presentational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and one of the CEE languages.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Valid driver’s license.

Additional Skills & Preferences:

• Proven experience in commercial operations and/ or within the Pet Health industry, or veterinary practice.
• Demonstrated empathy and passion for the veterinary animal health business.

• Ability to develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and build relationships.

Travel:

The role requires approximately up to 50% travel within the region
