Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre requires a temporary Principal in La Ronge for the start of the 2026-27 school year. The position will tentatively start on August 24th, 2026 and tentatively end on June 25th, 2027. (2026/2027 Sask DLC Academic Calendar is to be determined).
Sask DLC is a newly formed Treasury Board Crown Corporation in Saskatchewan, created to deliver high-quality and equitable online learning programs to students across the province. Sask DLC’s head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and eleven regional campuses located in Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Estevan, Yorkton, Saskatoon, Regina, Kenaston, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Neilburg and La Ronge.
The Campus Principal will report directly to the Superintendent of School Operations and will oversee the effective delivery of our online courses in alignment with Sask DLC’s centralized course development procedures and the Saskatchewan curriculum. This role is responsible for the leadership and management of a campus community, ensuring that all educational, operational, and student engagement goals are met. The Campus Principal will supervise STF Teachers, CUPE Support staff such as Online Learning Facilitators and/or Educational Assistants, monitor student progress, and ensure strong communication between the campus staff, parents, and their school division counterparts. This individual will be instrumental in fostering professional development, recruiting and hiring qualified staff, and creating a positive and effective learning environment.
