Retail Front End Supervisor – Part Time – AM/PM shifts available, weekend availability required! Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Front End Supervisor is responsible for the protection of company assets, under the direction of store management. The Front End Supervisor provides customer service and oversight of front-of-store activities in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Establish and maintain a professional environment, ensuring the best possible experience for customers and sales associates, including on weekends and holidays as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures through proper handling of all transactions and corresponding documentation (i.e. refunds, check approvals)
• Issue associate discounts, price overrides, gift certificates and any other transactions requiring supervisory involvement
• Train and supervise all Sales Associates and Secondary Front End Associates
• Supervise on all front-end policies and procedures
• Schedule to ensure proper coverage at the front end/service desk
• Coordinate immediate pre-screening of all applicants by store management
• Maintain merchandising standards for register end caps and inboards
• Maintain neat, organized and safe front end/service desk area
• Communicate to store management all corporate, associate, and customer issues on a timely basis
• Properly handle damages and returns daily according to established company procedure
• Operate a cash register, as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

• Minimum 6 months supervisory and customer service desk experience required
• Experience in a related retail environment preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

• Work primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. This position requires extended periods of moving, remaining stationary, ascending, descending, and/or positioning oneself to complete various tasks throughout the shift.
• Some sedentary activities and near vision use for reading and computer use.
• Responsible for physical activities including counting cash, using hand tools, ascending or descending a ladder, moving, reaching, and lifting on a frequent basis: should be able to lift 35 lbs on a regular basis.
