Sr. Finance Analyst, Pricing & Forecasting
Location: Remote, Arizona preferred.
Overview
The Senior Analyst, Commercial Program Support provides general support to TPI Composites’ Commercial Program Management and Business Development teams in several important areas including contract price modeling and updates, financial modeling and forecasting, financial reporting, scenario analysis, and negotiation support by collaborating with cross functional teams.
Reporting
The Senior Analyst, Commercial Program Support reports to the Director, Commercial Operations and works closely with the Global Commercial Program Directors on each customer program, the Senior Vice President, Wind, the Chief Commercial Officer, local plant program management/financial staff, legal, and corporate staff of the company.
Responsibilities
The Senior Analyst, Commercial Program Support has the following primary responsibilities:
• Provides commercial support to the Global Commercial Program Management headquarters staff and program team comprised responsible for global customer manufacturing programs with annual revenues of $50m to $1b each.
• Manages the quarterly Global Program Management forecasting process (including Internal and External Audit requirements) in support of the company’s ASC606 revenue recognition procedure, financial reporting, and business planning.
• Manages and continues the development of Global Program Management data tools including the Warranty Report, Risks & Opportunities Report, Production & Orders Report, and other related data and reports.
• Manages the monthly Global Program Management Report input data from global team and compilation of the report draft for presentation to global senior management.
• Develops and manages a variety of financial models to analyze new business opportunities, commercial issues, contract analysis, and other business analysis.
• Develops and manages contract pricing models for new contracts, amendments, and new production transitions.
• Provides additional commercial support to the Business Development team on new business and major product transition proposals, and other business development activities.
• Participates in customer meetings and negotiations as needed to understand analysis and support requirements.
• Supports the creation of business cases and commercial recommendations for internal review and approval.
• Supports the cost estimation, financial analysis, and price quotation process for product options specified in contracts, or as requested by customers.
• Follows all company policies in effect including TPI Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics, Travel & Expense Policy, Safety Policy, and other policies as applicable.
• Contributes to a safe work environment through proactive reporting of safety concerns and risks, following all safety procedures, and making suggestions to improving safety of the company’s operations.
• Other assignments as determined by the Director, Commercial Operations.
Experience & Qualifications
The incumbent will have the following minimum experience and qualifications:
• Five (5) to ten (10) years of consulting or financial analysis experience including financial statements modeling, discounted cash flow, IRR, cost estimates and pricing models, and similar financial analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to define, manage, and lead projects from inception to successful conclusion with minimal oversight.
• Comfortable with working in a highly dynamic, matrix reporting environment while managing and delivering on competing priorities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Expert in Microsoft Excel model creation and management using best practices for model design, data management, quality assurance, and reporting.
• Experienced with data analytics and business intelligence software such as Microsoft Power BI or similar platforms including creating data queries, reports, dashboards, and compelling visualizations of business data.
• Experienced with Microsoft SharePoint site creation and management including libraries, lists, and other applications.
• Experienced with various forms of contracts and commercial topics such as ordering, raw materials supply chain, deliveries, payment terms, liquidated damages, and warranty.
• BA Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree.
Additional desirable skills and experience include:
• Experience with international business and/or manufacturing sectors.
• Experience and interest in the renewable energy market.
