Store Bank Audit Reconciliation Analyst, EFT Accounting – Lakeland Full Time

The purpose of this position is to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all of Publix’s cash and banking activity. This includes:

• overseeing cash flows between stores, armored couriers and financial institutions
• reconciling weekly activity of all of Publix’s store depository cash and banking activity 
• managing the day-to-day relationship between Publix, financial institutions, and armed couriers

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or another analytical discipline or equivalent experience 
• 2 years of accounting related experience
• Ability to reconcile and analyze large amounts of information
• Ability to work at a fast pace while able to prioritize work and handling a variety of tasks simultaneously
• Ability to handle pressure and work under deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle conflict
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage time to meet departmental deadlines
• Ability to be customer service focused
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Access, Word and Outlook

• Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent for CPA qualification
• 4 years of accounting related experience including 1 year of experience working with SAP and MS Office applications including Excel and Access
• CPA
• Knowledge of Accounting principles
• Knowledge of banking practices
• Knowledge of armored courier practices
• Technical knowledge of SBA processes relative to transactions reconciled by SBA that generate through the Point of Sale (POS) and Publix Office SACT
