The Community Engagement Specialist (CES) in the Recovery Services Department is responsible for increasing the department’s connection within the community and with community partners. This four-year grant position will primarily be working independently in the community and reporting back to the Clinical Director and Program Manager. The CES will Conduct visits in the community to provide information both the Recovery Services program as well as overall substance use disorder (SUD) education and awareness. The CES role will allow us to expand substance use knowledge to advance equitable SUD services for the Black, Latine, and Native and tribal identifying people that promotes diversity, equity, belonging, and inclusion.
