Under the supervision of the Recruiting Supervisor, the Temporary Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily administrative operations for recruitment activities. This position supports the Recruiting Team with processing hires, communicating with hiring managers and candidates to keep the recruitment process moving forward, creating, and maintaining files, and creating monthly and quarterly metrics.
Education, Training and Experience Required:
Associate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field
At least two years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or working in an Administrative Support position (The City of Ann Arbor, at its discretion, may consider an alternative combination of formal education and work experience)
Proficient in computer programs, such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, Applicant Tracking System, HR Information System
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
Demonstrate problem-solving skills and organizational skills
Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Ability to work well with others in a small office setting and with the general public
Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
